1. All fields above are required. 2. "PCR Plate ID#" will be assigned by beamline staff and emailed to users. Mark the "PCR Plate ID#" on the plate when shipping to the beamline. Instruction on Packing 96-well Plate here. 3. Put "Plate Orientation" as "H". 4. In the below form, "Name" will be the data file name for the sample and should be ONE word (NO SPACE in the file name), without special characters like "&". Letters and numbers combination recommended. 5. "Exposure time" is the X-ray exposure time for each image. "Period" is the time interval between images. "# of Images" is the number of images to take for each sample. Default values provided in the form are recommended ones, but can be changed during experiments. 6. "x" and "y" are position of the sample. Sample#1 is at Well A#1, at (0,0); #13 is at Well B#1. Follow the sample numbering labeled in the above figure. Do NOT change those values provided in the form. 7. "Wash after?" is 'y' if needs to wash the flow cell after the current sample, otherwise 'n'. Recommend 'y' if the next sample is a new buffer. It could be 'n' when moving from buffer to sample or same samples but different concentrations. 8. "Collect?" is whether to collect data for this sample. Default is 'y'. Could be useful during experiments. 9. "Description" contains information of the sample, including chemical composition. It's required for waste disposal purpose at APS. 10. After completing the form, click "Submit" bottom at the top of the page to save. The information will be saved into a file (NOT in the webpage) named with the "PCR Plate ID#" on the website server, which can be retrieved during experiments. 11. Note: Any line whose "Name" field is blank will be skipped and not be saved into the file. For example, samples are loaded in A#1-#8, and B#1-#8; and "Name"s are provided for those lines, but not for A#9-#12. Line A#9-#12 will not be saved. 12. Note: The "Sample#" in the table (also in beamline data collection software) are just labels to guide the operator's eyes, will not affect data collection. However, "Sample#" at the website and at beamline software could have mismatch if any line skipped and cause certain inconvenience. To make them match, simply input "junk" as "Name" for any empty well before your last sample. For previous case, use "junk" as "Name" for A#9-#12. Whoever operates the data collection will skip "junk" samples.
